Christmas 2012

Santa was good to Gianna this year (and so were her grandparents). She was spoiled with tons of her favorite toys, lots of love and laughter. She was amazed by all the Christmas decorations and lights this year. We walked Thoroughbred St. in the rain and she made us stop and enjoy every house! We also went to visit Santa at the Americana with Carson and the Lefebvre Family.

Helping us "decorate"....(in reality giving us an ulcer)

Thanksgiving 2012

Gia's favorite part of Thanksgiving was obviously the FOOD!

Halloween 2012

Gia's 2nd Halloween and 1st trick or treating experience was a total success! Gia's favorite character at the time was Minnie Mouse...and she made the perfect Minnie. She was SO impressed with herself. She also had a Halloween party at day care- they did the "Monster Mash" dance and had a mummy-wrap party!

18 Months and Counting....

18 Months!! My how time flies! At Gia's 18 month appointment her stats were as follows:

Weight- 21lbs 1.4 ounces (10th Percentile)
Height- 32 inches (60th Percentile)

We also decided to try and make a list of all the words Gia can say (i know she knows more than what we were able to remember) but we came up with 92 words!! and a few of the words are in Spanish. We didn't count any word that she knows but doesn't speak (such as "boca"). We are truly blown away by how much she grows each day!

LA County Fair-First Pony Ride

The LA County Fair is back! Every year we go at least once and this year was no exception! Gianna got to experience her very first PONY RIDE. I was so nervous for her (very unlike me) but I wanted so badly for her to enjoy it- and she did. She definitely has my blood- I was riding at a young age also...I see a horse in this little girl's future....calling all grandparents??

The sunglasses have become her "must-have" accessory

Lake Arrowhead Adventure 2012

This was our fourth year going to Lake Arrowhead for Labor Day! What a BLAST we had! This was only our second year with all the babies and it was so FUN!!  We went into the village the first day and had an opportunity to feed the ducks and get ice cream. The babies got to ride the choo choo train and the carousel and play on the slide. The village was buzzing with people waiting for the concert to begin, it was amusing to watch the boats on the lake with their music and partying, then the families on the playground… the people-watching was the great!

The following day we all packed up and went to a BEAUTIFUL little beach on the lake in a private community. We set up shop with our ez-up and towels and enjoyed a relaxing day at the beach. The babies made “quick friends” with the neighbors and played with their toys most of the time. The guys also made friends with the neighbors- and borrowed their paddle boards. That was entertainment enough…watching each husband try to paddle board while the rest of the guys did their best to break his concentration!

All in all we had 3 amazing days in Lake Arrowhead, It has become a tradition we love and truly look forward to each year.
